4 Deep takes on Te Kauwhata, New Zealand

For 4 Deep Around The World vacations are more than visiting amusement parks and buying souvenirs. It’s about understanding the culture and the world around us. Hang with us as a $200 international flight deal takes us from the city streets of Houston to a farm in New Zealand.

For our first day in New Zealand, we wake up on a milk farm prepared to learn all about the farming business. It was a day filled with manure, fresh milk, after birth and nipples.

Thank you to Stacey and family for hosting 4 Deep Around the World and opening up your home to us.

  1. This is really interesting…. I am elated to see you doing your thing. My wife is into traveling and came across one of your post and ask me did I know you. So, I got up today and googled your name and low and behold what do I see. This is freaking awesome. The cool thing is I haven’t even read any of your post yet, I’m just excited to see you doing “it”. Anyway, I’m probably the last person you’re thinking of right now so I’ll drop a few hint just for fun. We were in the band together (middle and high school), I played football (middle and high school), and my initials are K. J.
If that’s not enough then my feelings will be hurt. I’ve been living in north Africa now for 4 going on 5 years and have no intentions on moving back to the states anytime soon. I now have two sons (a 2 year old and a new born) and seeing what you’re doing is inspirational. My wife and I would love to chat and pick your brain so please get back to me when you have time.
