From USA to New Zealand for $200 per person Round Trip : We Did It

I know, I know it’s been a while, but we are back. Follow us on our international journey from Houston, Texas to Auckland, New Zealand. Let me warn you that momma bear was not in such a happy mood during the first part of our adventures. Hey it happens sometimes because parenthood + travels doesn’t always equal sunshine and rainbows.

Honestly, my Debbie downer mood was solely my fault. Because I over extended myself, I walked around with an “ask me one more unnecessary question chile, and mommy will snap”. Although our flight was from Houston to New Zealand, I had to catch a 5 am flight from Atlanta returning from an eventful weekend . Then retrieve the kiddos in Houston and within hours wash, repack and hop on a plane to Los Angeles. My goodness, the things we do to catch a good flight deal.

Oh yeah, I must mention that our airfare from Los Angeles, California to Auckland, New Zealand was a little over two hundred dollars roundtrip per person. Flight deal for the win!  Throughout our Vlog, I will continuously inform you the viewer and remind my loving children that I have been up since three in the morning. Whoa, I am not nice when my blood sugar is low and I am  literally sleep walking from one terminal to the next. Judge me not!

Check out the Cool Kid Crew ‘s crazy airport antics. Sit with us through our seven plus hour layover in Los Angeles. Join us for fine dining of airplane cuisine  on the way to Sydney, Australia and cheer with us as we finally land in New Zealand.

  2. You have truly inspired me. I was raised by a single mother who worked hard to make sure my sister and I received a good education. Most of my school years were spent a majority Caucasian private schools. I remember hearing the other students talk about their family travels for spring break, Christmas vacation, summer etc. Meanwhile I had never been off the East Coast of the USA. I am now a young (under 30) wife and mother of 2 children (ages 4 and 6). I want so badly for my children to experience travel and you have inspired me to do it. You are doing this with 1 income. I have 2 and no more excuses! Thank you so much. Following!
